Ok, this song has librarian in the title and these lyrics clearly speak to library folk:
“I want to visit you at work, it is all quiet, it is so quiet at work”

Comic-con 2010 has come and gone and my adjustment to “real life” continues. It’s hard to come down from the over saturation of comic, costumes, bright lights, and the overall fast-paced word of #nerdtopia. I attempted to watch my regular shows upon my return, True Blood did not disappoint. Mad Men on the other hand was a little too pensive and quiet for my comfort. Instead I continue to relive my Comic-Con memories by looking at all of my loot, and reliving the coolest moments I experienced in San Diego this year.
By far, the absolute coolest was “The Scott Pilgrim Experience”, and I’m happy to say I attended the very first one of the Con with my good friend Adolfo. I appreciate the heavy promotion of both the books, published by Oni Press, and the upcoming movie (to be released on August 13…just days away!). Here are some photos of my Scott Pilgrim Experience – I walked away with a belly full of garlic bread, a custom screened t-shirt, a movie poster signed by both Bryan Lee O’Malley and director Edgar Wright, even more excitement for the upcoming film…and, finally, a glimpse of Erik Estrada. Despite these people cutting in front of me in line – I had a grand time!
Thanks for the free stuff Universal Pictures! This is sure to be a film I will see more than once.

And finally, an official Scott Pilgrim Trailer:
